Today in huge buttery soft news: We’re launching our new flagship fabric: Wagyu Fleece. You’re probably asking yourself: What exactly is “Wagyu” fleece? Well we’re here to…steer you in the right direction.
Here’s a quick interview we conducted with Drew and Wesley on how to digest this breed of fabric, which we’ve fattened and massaged with care.
What is it made of?
Drew: It’s made from an udderly luxurious Made in California 70/30 bamboo-poly blend. Like Wagyu, bamboo was invented in Japan.
Wes: That’s right, Drew! It’s so buttery it’s practically freshly churned.
Drew: We “branded” our fleece Wagyu for it’s outlier skills in luxurious tenderness.
Are there real bits of beef in it?
Drew: Not until you step inside of it.
Wes: Even then, it’s rare.
Can you eat it?
Wes: Technically you can eat anything, but we wouldn’t recommend it.
Drew: Unless you’re a panda this might incite mayhem in your GI tract. But your skin will feel like a foodie.
What’s so special about it?
Drew: Bamboo is a sustainable crop as grows quickly, and the fibers are is shockingly soft and durable. I like to think of it as an ancient, earthbound space-age polymer.
Wes: It’s more warm and inviting than stepping into a Tauntaun, minus the smell.
What’s next in the world of Wagyu Fleece?
Drew: We’re rolling out Women’s in December, as well as additional colors for all styles. Look for some surprises in Spring.
Wes: Don’t forget that our beefy conversation stoppers come in every specially designed pocket.
